Discount TRex 500 Review
The T-Rex 500 is a prominent helicopter model with an excellent flight performance, and it
generates a new range of specialties within itself. This Align model has been designed and tested by Alan
Szabo Jr. and Jason Krause, both of whom have given the TRex an effortless and light weight design, which
draws out its 3D capability.
The two experts have provided a rigid carbon fiber frame design to this bird. In case of any
accidents, the fiber frame will suffer minimal damage. The internal structure of the TRex 500 consists of an electric power system. The battery system
can be set up in four different configurations that are recommended for use: the 4S 3200 mah, the 5S 3200
mah, the 6S 2200, and the 2500 mah. The center of gravity of the battery tray is established near the rotor
head, so as to give the helicopter a higher speed in flight and hovering. A torque tube drive system is
installed to give the TRex a higher efficiency in its performance. All these new installments have been
intricately designed and crafted for users to get the best out of the model helicopter.
The fine-looking canopy of the TRex is made of a striking factory painted fiberglass. The blades
of the TRex are interchangeable; you may alter them from 425mm long to 450mm long. This gives the main
rotor a diameter of 970mm. The tail rotor diameter, on the other hand is around 200mm. Both the rotor head
and the tail have thrust bearings. Another new feature for the tail of the T-Rex 500 is the belt driven tail
which comprises of a fully driven tail auto rotation system. This gives the autorotation tail drive gear an
approximate of 145T. This enhances the delivery of speed in performance.
The T-Rex 500 stands 310mm tall and 810mm in lengtth, with a flying weight of
approximately 1700g. Even with this size, this bird flies smoothly at an alarmingly swift speed. The users
will be left astonished with the new features the Align Corporation brings in this item of theirs and will be
very happy with such their purchase for many years to come. The T-Rex 500 is definitely one to add to the
collection.
