The Align Corporation has produced some of the best radio controlled helicopters in the market and the T-Rex 700 Nitro is one of them. With an incredible length of 1335mm and a 450mm height, this new RC helicopter offers speed, power, maneuverability, and stands boldly in a category of its own.

The TRex 700 Nitro has numerous defining features. Firstly, it has a rigid frame design and a bump resistance fiberglass canopy. These two features cause little or no damage to the helicopter during (gentle) crashes. Along with its rigidity, the frame of the helicopter is very light in weight. This is truly remarkable about the T-Rex 700 Nitro, as it allows an astonishing flying weight of 4.2kg, which is the highest flying weight capacity of any RC helicopter in the market. Secondly, a torque tube driven tail has been added to the TRex, which contributes to the outstanding performance.

Another new feature is the addition of a new main gear. This gear has been designed basically with a one-way bearing to bring a high torque while flying. This adds to the excellent flight and hovering performance it delivers. Furthermore, there is a new introduction of a clutch, bell and fan assembly. This is to provide a smooth operation, even at the highest RPM. For an easy radio gear installation, the battery tray has been specially designed and modified from previous TRex’s.

The fuel tank capacity has been raised to 630cc. In addition to this, a super engine cooling system has been implanted within it, so as to provide cooling horsepower with its effective airflow.  A heavy duty tail with thrust bearings is yet another significant feature. The tail rotor diameter has been increased to give a 281mm diameter. The forward mounted tail servo alters the center of gravity in a positive direction and gives and effective speed and hovering while flying this beauty. The main blades have also been increased to a length of 690-710mm, which generates a rotor diameter of 1562-1602mm.
